How to Get Your Equipment Repaired at NCF Boulder

Fencing gear takes a beating — that’s part of the sport. At NCF, we have a simple system to make sure broken or damaged equipment gets repaired quickly and returned to you.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Grab a red repair tag from the armory area.

  2. Fill it out completely — your name, the date, and what the issue is (e.g., broken wire, zipper won’t close, needs rewiring).

  3. For personal gear, add contact info — email, phone, or a parent’s number — so we can follow up if needed.

  4. Attach the tag to the equipment using the pipe cleaner wire on the tag.

  5. Place the item on the armory counter — that’s the repair pile.

If you notice something broken — whether it’s your gear or club gear — you can bring it to a coach’s attention or go ahead and fill out a tag yourself. Either way works.

That’s it. The clearer you are on the tag, the faster we can get your gear back to you.
