Unless otherwise stated below, check in times are posted approximately 1 week after the regular fee entry deadline.RJC is a Qualifier for Junior Olympics and July Challenge. RYC is a Qualifier for Summer Nationals.
RYC/RJC of the Rockies Features:
15 grounded tournament strips, qualified referees, and live scores for every bout on FencingTimeLive.
The strips access will be limited to fencers actively fencing and safe sport certified coaches while coaching. Everybody else can watch from behind the stanchions, off the field of play, or outside.
Free parking at the venue is available on street and to the south of the Denver Fencing Center building. Overflow parking is also available at Ruby Hill Park at the end of the block. Please do not block driveways or use the parking areas of other businesses in the neighborhood.
Venue opens 5:30 PM Thursday for equipment check, 2:00 PM Friday, 9:00 AM Saturday, and 7:45 am Sunday. We recommend arriving at least 1 hour before close of check-in to allow time for equipment check and proper warm-up time. Fencing commences shortly after close of check-in.
All fencers must have a USA Fencing membership card with bar code, or a clearly legible copy, or downloaded to your phone, to use the contactless Auto Check-In feature. Fencers must check in each day they compete.
All event days/times are subject to change, and we strongly urge you to keep your entire week-end flexible until final close of check-in times are determined. There will be no refunds issued due to time changes on the same day.
No exceptions to late fees will be made for inability to register within stated deadlines. There will be no reminder emails sent to competitors with incomplete registrations. It is your responsibility to be aware of registration deadlines and ensure your entry is completed with payment. Entry is first-come, first-served.

REFUND POLICY There are no exceptions to this refund policy.
*Must send notification of withdrawal and request for refund to john@denverfencing.com.
*Registration fees and USA Fencing administrative fees are nonrefundable. Requests for event fees refunds will only be honored if received prior to midnight on October 10, 2025. There will be no exceptions to this policy. USA Fencing will issue refund to credit card used for the registration.
*There are no refunds in the event of time changes on the same day. All check-in times are subject to change, therefore we strongly encourage you to keep your entire day flexible until final close-of check-in times are posted. Any time changes will be posted no later than October 13, 2025. Verify your check-in time prior to traveling to the venue.
*On tournament day, fencers arriving after close of check-in will not be allowed to compete. They will be withdrawn from the competition, and no there will be no refund of entry fees for any reason.
*No refunds issued to no-shows for any reason.
We will have high-level referees directing the tournament.
If interested in refereeing, email john@denverfencing.com. Only referees who are USA Fencing/FIE rated, FenceSafe-approved, and have background screen completed will be considered (FenceSafe and background not needed if under age 18).

The closest airport to us is Denver International Airport (DEN). I highly recommend renting a car for our regional events. Public transportation in Denver is not the fastest mode of transportation.
