Looking for a fun, action-packed, and uniquely memorable birthday party experience? A fencing birthday party offers excitement and entertainment for all ages!

What’s Included:

Enjoy 120 minutes of fencing games, sword-fighting fun, and party activities in the NCF Boulder environment. Kids will learn the basics of fencing, suit up in fencing gear, and use electric scoring machines. It’s a thrilling way to celebrate and create lasting memories.

Party Details:

  • Duration:

    • 2 hours of activities, plus 30 minutes on either side for setup and cleanup.

  • Group Size:

    • Minimum of 4 participants, maximum of 14.

  • Cost:

    • $20 per participant.

  • Additional Facility Use:

    • Need extra time? Additional facility use is available for $35 per additional ½ hour.

  • Food and Cake:

    • Bring your own food, drinks, and cake to personalize your celebration. Tea and coffee available by arrangement.

Important Notes:

  • Food Prep:

    • We don’t have a refrigerator or kitchen amenities, but do have a 5 CU FT freezer for ice cream cakes, we can also accommodate crockpots, chafing dishes, and similar items. Tea and coffee available with prior notice.

  • Special Availability:

    • We can also host parties and events on no-school days and have weekday availability until 3 PM.

What We Provide:

  • Expert Instruction:

    • A coach and junior club members assist with activities and instruction.

  • Facility Access:

    • Exclusive use of our fencing club for 2 hours.

  • Fencing Equipment:

    • All necessary gear and electric scoring machines.

  • Pre Birthday Lesson:

    If your child has never fenced before, we offer a 30-minute introductory lesson the week before the party to help them feel more comfortable and confident.

  • Entertainment Amenities:

    • Sound system with a headset and cordless microphone.

    • 46” TV with all manner of input connections.

    • Projector

  • Seating and Tables:

    • 1 standard 6ft table.

    • 1 narrow 6ft table.

    • 1 4ft table.

    • Seating for up to 20 guests.

  • Decorations:

    • Balloon arch and two balloon columns.

    • Themed decorations and table covers.

    • Exterior and interior signage and banner.

    • Framed 5x7 of the birthday child.

  • Keepsakes:

    • A framed group photo for each participant (picture taken in fencing uniform during pre-birthday lesson).

    • Inflatable swords and light sabers available for $1.50 each

Coming to a Birthday Party at NCF?

Here’s what you need to know so you’re ready for the fun:

  • What to Wear: Athletic shoes (no sandals, boots, or dress shoes) and comfy clothes you can move in. We’ll provide all the fencing gear.
  • What to Expect:   You’ll be out on the fencing floor in full equipment, actually bouting — with plenty of games and activities mixed in. We’ll teach you everything you need to get started and make sure you have a good experience. No prior fencing knowledge required!
  • Parents & Guests: You’re welcome to watch and cheer from the sidelines.
  • Hydration: Bring a water bottle if you like, we’ll also have water and cups ready.
  • Freshen Up: Heading somewhere after? You might want to tuck in a clean t‑shirt for a quick change. We’ll also have cold towels to help you cool down.
We’ll take care of the rest — gear, coaching, and plenty of fun. Just bring your energy and get ready to celebrate!
