Northern Colorado Fencers has been offering Summer Fencing Day Camps to boys and girls from 7 to 13 for over 15 years. No previous fencing experience is necessary to participate in the beginning camps. Each session has a maximum of 18 children.

This year's summer camps will be offered as follows:

Fencing summer camps at NCF will introduce your child to the core skills, strategies and rules of the modern sport of fencing.  Camps are safe and fun, and participants learn the basics of using a fencing weapon for offense and defense, the rules of the sport, how to conduct bouts and tournament play, and how to be gracious in victory and how to profit from defeat.  Along the way, we'll have fun games, challenging exercises and bouts with partners, and informative discussions about the sport and each fencer's role in it.

Emphasis is on teaching a good understanding of the basics of fencing: footwork positions, attacking and defensive actions, and learning about the use of the equipment.

NCF will provide all the instruction and fencing equipment each child will need to make this camp safe and exciting.

The NCF Summer Camps are a great way to get involved with one of the top Junior fencing clubs in the US.

Age is restricted to those 7-13 years old.  Cost is $170 per camper, with a 10% discount for multiple sessions, and siblings, so bring the whole family!
